What Are Document Unlocks?
Document unlocks are used to fetch real time document images where Elementix does not have county partnerships.

How Document Unlocks Work
One-Time Unlock
Once you unlock a document, it is unlocked permanently across your entire organization. This means no double-billing — once a document is unlocked, the organization always has access to it in any context.
Unlocking Documents
Documents appear on the document page. Many are free — if a document is included in Elementix's coverage zones, or if we already have it, it is available with no unlock required.
A document unlock is consumed only when you click the Unlock button explicitly. When you click Unlock, we request the document from a title partner or directly from the county in real time on your behalf.
Usage
Organization admins can set limits on document unlocks across the entire organization and per user. To meter, disable, or set unlimited document unlocks for individual team members, see Managing Permissions.
